Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice are monthly industry-based networking meetings for WiGIS members.  These are monthly meet-ups where you connect with other professionals that have a shared industry interest. Hosted by WiGIS and facilitated by WiGIS members, these meetings are an open conversation facilitated by the host and attendees.

The Communities of Practice program is open to all WiGIS members. Not a member? Find out how easy it is to become one!

Industry practice areas include the following. Use these as a guide. They are not limited to the subareas shown below. You can join any or all of the ones that you have an interest in. Members take note - if you attended any of these meetups in 2022, the Zoom details are all new for 2023, so if you will need to re-register to get the 2023 Zoom connection information.
